Dear friends during pandemic, I have decided to learn Digital marketing from renowned Digital marketing expert Digital deepak & Iam pround intern of Digital Deepak.


Procrastinating for long , finally joined Batch 6 of the Internship program of Digital deepak.


I find this Internship program really useful till now, I have learnt marketing fundamentals  .Which i'm gonna share with you.

Definition of Marketing by the father of Modern management :

Peter F Druckers

“The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well that the product or service fits him and sells itself”.



.Marketing is not modern day science, it has existed since ancient civilization ,upgraded day by day by modern management gurus / Thinkers like the father of modern management Peter drucker.


Marketing is the management process which identifies,anticipates,& supplies client requirements in an  effective & profitable manner.It is a process which understands customer psychology & need ,creating suitable products  & delivering profitable value to targeted customers better than the competition.


Marketing is based on scientific approach ,which implies certain rules,laws & technique.It is not imagination or creation of an imagery world to do better business or acquiring business.


Is Marketing the same as Selling/Copywriting/Advertising ?


Marketing is an overall organisational process that includes the planning,pricing,promotion,packaging,advertising & selling of any product ,Idea,Service which creates  Value to the customer, that's why selling ,advertising & copywriting all are components of marketing.


Marketing is a way to convey your clear message to prospective customers on a right occasion .

Essence of marketing is communication skill,a person having a good convincing power ,one who is able to convey your thought/message  to the client in a lucid manner consider him as a Good marketer or communicator.

It is not necessary that you should be fluent in english language like Shashi Tharoor who uses fancy vocab to impress people.


What I learnt about Traditional marketing Vs Digital Marketing?


All offline modes of marketing are counted as Traditional marketing,It is the oldest form of marketing ,vital contribution  in reaching local business which includesOutdoor advertising (Hoardings,Billboard),Radio,Television,print media direct mail,phone.


Ads can be placed for longer duration like billboard,Hoarding, its impact on visual memory assume that you will drive everyday to your workplace .


During travel to office on road ,rail & metro you will see so many ads displayed in the form of hoarding ,billboard etc.If you keep watching everyday its visuals keeps in subconscious mind someday when you think about the same product to buy ,That it will come in your mind first.


Radio  has a good reach to 60% of the audience in india.Newspaper reader is still there hence Traditional marketing reach to audience is there,Tried & trusted since so many years, however decreases in audience in recent time paradigm shifted to Digital Marketing.








What is Digital Marketing ?






Digital marketing is a wonderful virtual world to reach ,find new audiences through online methods.


Marketing conducted through online content is called Digital marketing.

Digital marketing using content/channel like:


  • Blogging

  • Website

  • Affiliate marketing

  • Social media facebook,Instagram etc

  • SEM Search engine marketing

  • Webinar

  • Inbound marketing


 Let's take  examples  like Social media ads like facebook ads,Google ads,Paid ads , Email marketing & whatsapp marketing all are online marketing tools.


If you want to increase the digital presence of your business then digital marketing tools will help to optimize your search & driving traffic to your site by doing SEO techniques. 


Building the website of your business will increase the chance of attracting an audience from  across the globe .No geographical limit.


Setting up E-commerce sites for your products to sell in different locations .


Demand of Digital marketing is growing day by day because the use of  digital technology increases by the world population. Indians have mobile phones in every pocket.


Pandemic fuels the speed of growing digital ,online etc.Whole new virtual world called Digital marketing penetrates its roots in Education,Learning,Freelancing,Mentoring,Coach & Training markets.


Digital marketing creates value content which engages the audience .


Yes it is measurable also you can keep track of engagement of audiences,Conversion rate through click,capture demographics where your audiences come, for what they are looking for?Hence targeting a desired audience is easy.

You can work  as a remote ,it's affordable and cost effective than traditional marketing.






Marketing funnel & Framework  CATT How to implement?


If you want to create wealth, target the audience & capture their mind .

When the audience is in problem ,you recognize their problem & be a problem solver .

Creating funnel to is very important to get an audience /client ,Niche is very important what audiences want,create content,Drive traffic (attention) to your content , try to  build client trust & transaction conversion into customers with natural sales methods.

Where n is considered Niche:Niche selection is a very important part ,success & wealth depend on niche.If you know your area of  expertise or talent also require passion for doing things you love most & offcourse market should be there.

I have learnt some about  Integrated digital marketing ,Integrate means bringing all your digital marketing tools in one form you can say it  automation .

Everyone has to  play their vital & unique role in Integrated Digital marketing .







Content :Creating quality content is very important to build trust ,creating authority so people can listen,follow,Read you content.


Email : Email capture through quality content on which the audience comes & sending again new quality content to engage them.Subscription is the best way to capture email from the audience.


Paid Ad: Paid ad plays a vital role in getting audience & emails list  from them.


Social media :Social media is a platform where you will find a group of like minded audiences following you with certain interest.When audience leave feedback & suggestions ,Social media sends signal to search engines people looking for particular things.


Search :Search engines have certain algorithms to optimize online content like Quality & relevant content.

On page SEO is an important factor to optimize search contect.


So it flows like  Quality content →Social  media →Search engine.
